Arizona & Back

A few weeks back I had to go to Arizona to attend some district meetings for work. We had some good discussion and my presentation went well. They took us out to a Spring Training Baseball game, The King Fish House & Rustler's Roost (cowboy steakhouse). It was great getting to know all of the branch managers better. Here is a picture of the only girls that were at the meetings.

After my meetings I stayed for a few days to visit family. I stayed Wednesday night with my Aunt Diane & Doug who are heading for a year long tempe mission in Palmyra, NY. It was great to visit and relax and see a few of my cousins that I haven't seen for a while.

On Thursday, Kevin's Aunt Jeannie picked me up and we spent that day together. She took me to the coolest shop called Charming Charlie. They have all sorts of coordinating jewelry, scarves, handbags, etc. It was so overwhelming but I loved so many things there. That night they surprised me with tickets to a premiere showing of The Hunger Games. We went to dinner before and then went to the movie. We received door prizes that had all sorts of goodies and a Mockingjay Pin. I LOVED the movie and LOVED the company. Thanks again Joanne & Jeannie!!On Friday, we relaxed and visited and then had a large extended family BBQ at the Welton's. Such great food and company. I can't believe how grown up all the kids are getting. I was able to meet Brea & Tyson for the first time which was really fun. I'm so glad that even though Kevin wasn't able to be there I was able to catch up with so many family members.

By Saturday it was time to fly home. We went out for breakfast at Filiberto's and then headed to the airport. I arrived home and was SO glad to see my hubby! This was the longest that we've had to be apart in the last 5 years and it was HORRIBLE!!

The trip was a success but I think I picked up Strep Throat from one of those public places. The next week was spent miserable trying to get better before month end. I'm grateful for antibiotics and for a loving husband who was patient with me when I had 103 degree fever and was sweating him out of bed. I'm feeling much better now and can claim "I Survived!"Now, it is time for EASTER!!!
